What is the Exchange rate (FX)?
An exchange rate is the price of one country's currency in terms of another currency. It tells you how much of one currency you need to buy a unit of another currency. For example, if the exchange rate between the US dollar (USD) and the Peso (PESO) is 1 USD = 20 PESO, you would need 1 US dollar to get 20 pesos. We use the baseline Exchange Rate provided by Mastercard TM or Visa TM. The FX provided by our partners is highly competitive. We aim to allow YOU to send more "pesos" for your dollars.
What currency are transactions processed in?
Transactions are processed exclusively in US dollars. This means that the quote and the transfers of funds will only be carried out in this currency. Your recipient will receive the funds in the requested currency.
What are the fees?
Fees in international remittances refer to the charges imposed when sending money across borders. These fees can vary depending on your selected payment method, the service provider, the amount of the remittance, and the destination country. For example, debit card payments incur lower fees than cash payments. In all cases, we will quote your transfer and show your Total Cost of Remittance (TCR). We strive to maintain the lowest possible costs of sending money for your benefit.
